Leach International Launches New Prototype Lab
BUENA PARK, Calif. -- Leach International Corporation, a major
electrical power switching component manufacturer for the
aerospace and rail industries, has launched a new hybrid microelectronics
prototype lab at its North American facility.
Located in the company's newly redesigned, 10,000 square-foot
Hepa-filtered clean room, the new lab was created to
support conceptual design, assembly and testing capabilities for
a wide range of circuits and technological devices. The
lab can produce prototypes ranging from simple conductive circuits
to complex microprocessor-based control devices.
Additionally, new ideas can be quickly tested in the lab as part
of the ongoing research and development process.
"A unique concept in the relay industry, this lab was developed
in response to the prevailing 'Just in Time' philosophy
embraced by many manufacturers in the marketplace," explains Ernie
Johnson, president of leach International, North
America. "It is set up for fast response and quick prototype development.
Customers can expect to see results within two
to four weeks of their request."
